Welcome, time traveller!
You’ve stumbled upon an authentic relic from December 2000.An imaginary compilation from the mind of Brian Currin
In the absence of a proper “Best of Pink Floyd” compilation (until Echoes in November 2001), this was my idea for an imaginary 2CD set, titled “Comfortably Numb – The Best Of Pink Floyd”, which I compiled in December 2000.
This is a companion set to Welcome To The Machine – The Best Of Roger Waters and there are no repeated tracks between the two compilations. For example the Roger Waters collection has the full “Another Brick” suite while the Floyd set uses the single edit of “Another Brick…” with the four extra bars at the beginning.
See also A Box Full Of Secrets, my imaginary 4CD box set.
Though Pink Floyd has had many new releases and reissues since 2001, this page will remain as an archive.
