Since You Been Gone” was written by Russ Ballard (ex-Argent guitarist) and released on his album ‘Winning’ in 1976. Head East recorded this song for their self-titled album released in February 1978. It was recorded by Clout in 1978 for their debut album. In 1979 Rainbow recorded it for their ‘Down To Earth‘ album. Rainbow’s version reached the UK Top 10, when released as a single.
