Dean and the Mark 4 were the first Leeds group to be recognised by the BBC and in 1961 appeared on the trendy “Here we go with the NDO” (Northern Dance Orchestra). Although very popular in Leeds and district, the group never reached the recognition they deserved, The group disbanded in 1965. Founder members were Freddy Mortimer, George Beck, Eric Kinchiin, and Colin Smith
Dean and the Mark 4 (leeds group)did “Hey Little Girl” in the Early 60….I don´t think it did much.
