Biography
Kenny “Ken E” Henson (born Kenneth Edward Henson in Durban) was a prominent South African musician best known as one half of the popular duo Finch & Henson alongside Brian Finch. A talented singer, songwriter, guitarist, and even sitar player, Henson had a rich musical history beyond his work with Finch. He was a founding member of influential South African rock bands Freedom’s Children in the 1960s and Abstract Truth in the early 1970s, contributing to the country’s burgeoning rock scene. Though he achieved significant success with Finch & Henson, his earlier work cemented his legacy as a versatile and innovative musician.
