In early 1999 I was asked by Derek Smith of Gallo Records to be involved with compiling a South African Disco collection, which was released as a double CD titled “Disco Fever” in July of that year.
This “Get And Up Dance” mix is inspired by that now long out-of-print CD, which celebrated the classic Disco era, with a distinct South African flavour.
