I am hearing my all-time favourite song for the first time… again!
The “Made In Japan” live version which was released in 1973 was my lightbulb moment in music. I was 14 years old and went from listening to Pop on the radio to listening to Rock on vinyl.
The 1972 studio version from the album “Machine Head”, has been remixed by Dweezil Zappa, the son of Frank Zappa, who is name-checked in the song.
This is not a radical remix, more just a new mix utilising modern technology… I really like it.
